Material handling seems simple until powder blocks the line – and then it’s over! No flow, no production. This is why the design of a Screw Conveyor is imperative to proper material handling. Through our manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad, we produce Screw Conveyor systems that encourage the continuous flow of bulk materials from one industry to another within Gujarat and across India.

We manufacture a variety of Screw Conveyors such as Stainless Steel Screw Conveyors, Mild Steel Screw Conveyors, Horizontal Screw Conveyors, Inclined Screw Conveyors, and Trough-Type Screw Conveyors based on the application. The diameter, pitch, and thickness of the shaft are determined after the density of the material is measured and the capacity required is established. Fine powders have a different flowing characteristic than granules, therefore we will calculate what requirements need to be provided for them before they are actually fabricated.

When flying cutters and wing rollers are accurately cut out and shaped, alignment will remain accurate as well. Shaft balancing is significant. Without balanced shafts, excessive vibration will ultimately shorten the life of the bearings. Adequate care is taken when assembling the frame hanger bearings, end bearings and gearbox drives to assure precise fitment. When building conveyors specifically for food or chemical industries, we will build them out of stainless steel to provide a smooth internal finish.

The condition for space also plays a large factor into the design of the Conveyor. Some customers require a small footprint for their layout, while others require long transfer distances for their product. In either case, we will adjust our drawings accordingly.
